“When You Trap a Tiger”

The play follows a young Korean American girl who finds her voice while learning about her halmoni, Korean roots, and a mysterious Tiger that keeps appearing and disappearing.  Is she brave enough to face the Tiger?

• Based on the Newbery Award winning book by Hawaiʻi native Tae Keller
• Directed by Dr. Lyn Kajiwara Ackerman, St. Andrew’s School Performing Arts Faculty
• Korean dance and music by Mary Jo Freshley, Director and Master Teacher at the Halla Huhm Korean Dance Studio
