Thank you for your interest in St. Andrew’s Schools, Hawaiʻi’s experts in single gender education and differentiated instruction on the island of Oʻahu.
We know that each child is born with unique talents and skills and that no two children are alike. At St. Andrew’s Schools, we celebrate and respond to the differences in each child. In our close-knit, nurturing, supportive community, your child will develop to his or her full potential and will never be lost in a crowd. We feel it’s our responsibility to foster the growth and success of each one of our students, and we do so in a very intentional manner.
Guided by the vision of our founder, Queen Emma Kaleonālani, we have remained deeply rooted in our Hawaiian heritage and Episcopal tradition for 149 years. Today, The St. Andrew’s Schools comprises three distinct divisions to best meet the needs of your child:
- St. Andrew’s Priory School for Girls: Founded in 1867 by Hawaiʻi’s beloved Queen Emma, The Priory serves grades K to 12 at our convenient downtown location on Queen Emma Square.
- St. Andrew’s Preparatory School for Boys: Serving grades K to 3 for the 2016-2017 school year, The Prep is Oʻahu’s first independent, all-boys elementary school. Sharing the same campus as The Priory, The Prep will grow to serve boys in grades K to 5.
- Queen Emma PreSchool: QEP serves girls and boys, ages 2 to 5, at our Pali Highway campus next to the Queen Emma Summer Palace
We would love to welcome you to our campus and get you better acquainted with our Schools. We are also here to assist you with the admissions process and answer any questions you may have as you’re considering schools for your child.
