Applying to Preschool

 

Thank you for your interest in Queen Emma Preschool. 

Queen Emma Preschool is a year-round program. We do not offer preschool enrollment on a short-term basis, e.g., we do not have a preschool program just for the summer months.

We accept boys and girls 2-5 years of age.

  • Students applying for our 2s classes do not need to be potty-trained.
  • Students applying for our 3s, 4s, and 5s classes must be potty-trained* when scheduling the parent interview for admission consideration.


*Children applying for 3s, 4s, and 5s classes must meet the following definition of “potty-trained” before being considered for admission:

1. No diapers or pull-ups during the day. The child must wear underwear at school every day.
2. The child stays dry during naptime, wearing underwear (no diapers or pull-ups).
3. The child must be able to verbalize the need to go to the restroom using the appropriate words.

We are only accepting preschool applications for the 26-27 school year if families are interested in being waitlisted.

Applications for the 27-28 school year will be available on September 1, 2026.

St. Andrew's Schools does not accept early applications for students who are not age-eligible for preschool in school year 27-28.

Students must be at least two years old as of September 30, 2027 to apply for school year 27-28.

Application fees for early applicants who do not meet the birthdate requirement will not be refunded.

Applying for the 2027-2028 School Year

tuesday, September 1, 2027

Admission application available via Finalsite Enrollment.

Students must be at least two years old by June 1, 2027 to apply for school year 27-28.


January 15, 2027

Admission applications due for priority consideration.
Applications are still accepted after January 15 for the next round of review.


March 31, 2027

Decision letters are sent via email.


June to September 2027

Start dates are available for accepted students (first come, first served by enrollment).*


*Even if accepted, the student's spot in a class is not guaranteed until the contract has been signed and the non-refundable enrollment fee of $600 has been paid. There may be more students accepted than there are spots available.
