Kindergarten Eligibility Date: Your child is eligible for Kindergarten in the 2027-28 school year if s/he turns 5 years old by December 31, 2027.

Step 1: Submit application

The admissions application for the 2027-2028 school year opens on September 1, 2026. Applications are submitted through Finalsite Enrollment, our online admissions platform. Please be sure to select the correct school year before proceeding with the application.

Step 2: Submit a copy of your child’s birth certificate or passport

A copy of your child’s birth certificate or passport may be uploaded through the checklist in Finalsite Enrollment.

Step 3: Schedule an admissions interview (for the parent)

Once the online application is submitted, you may schedule your interview through the checklist in Finalsite Enrollment. The interview will take place as a virtual meeting with a member of the Admissions Committee and the applicant's parent.

Step 4: Schedule a Kindergarten Assessment

Sign up for one of the designated assessment dates through the application checklist in Finalsite Enrollment. Kindergarten assessments are offered on Saturday, January 23, 2027 or Saturday, February 6, 2027 from 9-10 a.m. You only need to schedule an assessment for one of those dates.

Please email us at admissions@standrewsschools.org to ask about scheduling an individual assessment if January 23 or February 6 are not possible for your family.

Step 5: Request a Teacher Reference Report

Preferred method: Through the checklist in Finalsite Enrollment, send an electronic request for your child's current teacher to complete a teacher reference report. The teacher will complete the form and send it directly to St. Andrew's Schools.

Alternatively, you can download the Teacher Reference Report and give it to your child’s current teacher to complete. However, the form still must be sent directly to St. Andrew's Schools by the teacher.

Step 6: Request educational records

Upload available educational records (e.g. progress reports, parent-teacher conference forms, etc. if issued by the school) to Additional Items in the checklist in Finalsite Enrollment. If needed, download the Records Release Authorization and give it to your child’s current preschool to request a copy of your child's records.

Optional: We welcome applicants to complete the Character Skills Snapshot as a way to provide additional insight for the admissions committee to consider. Please enter our school code (6274) when registering.

Preferred method: Through the checklist in Finalsite Enrollment, send an electronic request to your child's current principal, dean, advisor, or other school administrator to complete an administrative reference report. The administrator will complete the form and send it directly to St. Andrew's Schools.

Alternatively, you can download the Administrative Reference Report and give it to an administrator to complete. However, the form still must be sent directly to St. Andrew's Schools by the administrator.

Step 7: Request educational records

Upload a copy of your child's current year's progress report, last year's final report card, and any standardized test scores to Additional Items in Finalsite Enrollment. Step 8: Extracurricular Reference Report (Optional)

Download the Extracurricular Reference Report and submit it to your child's current coach, instructor, or teacher of an extracurricular activity in which your child is involved. This form must be submitted directly to St. Andrew's by the reference.

Step 2: Submit passport

Submit a color copy of the applicant’s valid passport.

Step 3: Request educational records (with certified English translation)

Upload a copy of your child's current year's progress report, last year's final report card, and any standardized test scores, each with certified English translation to Additional Items in Finalsite Enrollment. The current year's progress report should only be requested from your child's school after the completion of the first quarter/semester. If needed, download the Records Release Authorization and give it to your child’s current school to request copies of these items. Admission to grade 11 also requires official transcripts from grades 9 and 10.

Step 4: Request Teacher Reference Reports (with certified English translation)

Entering grades K to 6 (preferred method): Through the checklist in Finalsite Enrollment, send an electronic request to your child's current teacher to complete a teacher reference report. The form should have a certified English translation. The teacher will complete the form and send it directly to St. Andrew's Schools.

Entering grades 7 to 11 (preferred method): Through the checklist in Finalsite Enrollment, send electronic requests to your child's current English and Math teachers to complete a teacher reference report. The should should have a certified English translation. Each teacher will complete the form and send it directly to St. Andrew's Schools.

Alternatively, you can download the teacher reference report(s) to give to your child’s current teachers to complete. However, the form still must be sent directly to St. Andrew's Schools by the teacher(s).

• Teacher Reference Report (for kindergarten applicants)

Step 5: Submit English test results

We accept results from the Duolingo English Test. This test is an online English proficiency test that can be taken online, on-demand, in under an hour for only $59. The test is taken via a computer with a camera and includes a proficiency score, video interview, and writing sample which are shared with St. Andrew's Schools.

Optional: International applicants may submit test scores from the SSAT. The test can be taken  from home or at any SSAT test site. Results are submitted directly from SSAT to St. Andrew’s Schools; please enter our school code (6274).

Step 6: Schedule an admissions interview

Once the online application is submitted, we will work with you to schedule an in-person or virtual interview with the parent and a member of the Admissions Committee. The interview is conducted in English but you are welcome to have a translator present during the interview to assist. Students applying for grades 7-11 will also be interviewed. 

Step 7: SEVIS Form I-20

If an F-1 Student Visa is needed for the student to attend St. Andrew's, the following documents are required so that the school can issue a SEVIS Form I-20.

Upon acceptance to the school, the family must submit:

• A signed enrollment contract (online) and non-refundable enrollment fee (payable online)
• A color copy of the photo/signature page of the parents’ valid passports
• Documentary evidence of means of financial support
• Proof of a responsible host family and legal guardian or that the student is living with her parents

After the school receives all of the above items and the student is enrolled, the school will send a Form I-20 to you. When you receive the Form I-20, please have both parents and the student sign the form.

Step 8: F-1 Student Visa

Contact your local U.S. Consulate or Embassy and schedule an appointment for an F-1 Student Visa interview. Ask for a list of all documents you need to take to your interview.

Pay the SEVIS Application Fee. After submitting payment, you will receive an I-901 form which is proof of payment. You must show the I-901 during your interview. http://www.ice.gov/sevis/i901

Queen Emma Preschool accepts both boys and girls 2-5 years of age. We welcome applicants for non-potty-trained 2-year-olds. Students applying for our 3s, 4s, and 5s classes must be potty-trained before we schedule the parent interview for admissions consideration.

Step 1: Submit application via School Admin

Applications for the 27-28 school year are available online as of September 1, 2026.

Step 2: Submit a copy of your child’s birth certificate or U.S. passport

A copy of your child’s birth certificate or U.S. passport may be uploaded through the checklist in the application parent portal.

Step 3: Take our video tour of the Queen Emma Preschool campus

Once your online application is submitted, the Admissions Office will share our video tour of Queen Emma Preschool.

Step 4: Notify the Admissions Office as soon as your child is potty-trained (for applicants for the 3s, 4s, or 5s classes)

For applicants for the 3s, 4s, or 5s classes: If your child is not potty-trained at the time the application is submitted, please notify the Admission Office via email at admissions@standrewsschools.org once your child reaches this milestone.  The parent interview will not be scheduled until the child is fully potty-trained.
