Celebration of Ascension Day
Thursday, May 25, 2017.  9:00 a.m.
The Cathedral of St. Andrew and Robinson Courtyard

Ascension Day is rich in tradition and celebration at St. Andrew’s Schools. In 1867, 150 years ago, Queen Emma founded St. Andrew’s Priory School School for girls on Ascension Day. To celebrate our founding and commemorate Ascension Day, the Junior Class decorates our historic Coral Cross and presents the decorated Coral Cross as a gift to the school. The whole school joins together to celebrate this special day with a chapel service at The Cathedral of St. Andrew in the morning followed by a student gift giving ceremony in Robinson Courtyard. It is there that the juniors and seniors offer each other a gift of song and build memories of love and fellowship that will last a lifetime.

The Cathedral of St. Andrew

Baccalaureate is a special, intimate chapel service held for seniors and their families to celebrate our seniors and bid them a fond farewell as they approach Commencement. The Seniors are the ministers of worship, offering prayers, songs, and scripture and this is an opportunity for them to reflect on their time here at The Priory.

Commencement
Sunday, June 4, 2017.  5:00p.m.
The Cathedral of St. Andrew

We honor our graduating Seniors in this beautiful ceremony held at The Cathedral of St. Andrew. Diplomas are granted to our graduating Seniors as we celebrate each individual’s unique accomplishments and wish them the best as they commence a new chapter of their lives.  The Senior class will give thanks as they present various musical selections, including a class song, a class Hawaiian song, and a class hymn.  Admission is by ticket only.
