Coming Home:  Home for the Holidays 2018

Home for the Holidays returned home on November 29 to the stunning Hale Five-O, Jeri and Jerry Lynch's residence in Kahala.
More than 150 friends and supporters of St. Andrew's Schools enjoyed this fun and festive annual event with upscale holiday shopping personally curated by the Home for the Holidays committee, and delicious catering by Ginniberries. By the end of the evening, more than $27,000 was raised to support student and faculty programs!
The Festival of Trees – an annual tradition and always a highlight of the evening – caught everyone's eyes. This year, more than 50 beautifully handcrafted trees and wreaths were available for purchase to benefit the school. Guests marveled at the creativity of the 100% handmade "Elf on a Shelf" and "Snoopy's Christmas" trees.
Christmas just isn't Christmas without the beautiful caroling by our students. The Priory Choir greeted guests warmly at the entrance and serenaded guests throughout the event. The Priory Orchestra set the holiday mood with classics such as "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" and "Silent Night," as well as contemporary music from "The Phantom of the Opera."
A special mahalo goes out to our "hostess with the mostest" Mrs. Jeri Lynch. Her creativity, vision and planning made the experience an absolute joy for everyone who attended. "I just love this event," Jeri said. "After five years, 'Home for the Holidays' has returned home!"
Head of School Ruth Fletcher noted that, "We are very fortunate to have such outstanding alumnae, parents and friends who come out to support St. Andrew's Schools each year. Mahalo to our St. Andrew's 'ohana for making this event such a success!"
