Welcome Home: Kimberly Ishimoto ’04 Joins the Advancement Office
St. Andrew's Schools
The newest member of the staff at St. Andrew’s Schools is Kimberly Ishimoto, Class of ’04, who is serving as the Advancement Assistant.
Kim always knew she would attend St. Andrew’s someday. Her Mom Kathy ’73, and Aunts Patricia ’75 and Candace ’79, all graduated from Priory and her Mom brought her to alumnae events when she was only a toddler. Kim started at Priory in the 6th grade.
With her college counselor Belinda Chung’s help, Kim nterned at the State Capitol for 2 sessions during her junior and senior years.
She was part of the first group of Priory Ambassadors and loved representing her school. She attended the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa (UHM) for her undergraduate degree, attended Richardson School of Law at UHM, and subsequently passed the Hawaiʻi Bar.
She has worked for both the Federal and State governments but was thrilled at the opportunity to come back to work for St. Andrew’s in the Advancement Office. Her class has had a couple of informal reunions over the years but has mostly kept in touch via Facebook.
Kim is a member of St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church, whose congregation includes many Priory alumnae, and she loves that sense of history and continuity that comes from being a graduate of St. Andrew’s. Her daughter Julia currently attends Queen Emma Preschool.
